What is CALSPORIN?
CALSPORIN is a probiotic feed additive, or a direct fed microbial product, produced in Japan since 1986. CALSPORIN® has a long history of safe and successful use in farm and other animals. It is based on viable spores of a non-GM strain, Bacillus subtilis C-3102. Research and farm trials around the world have demonstrated the positive effects on animal performance, with consistent improvements in growth and feed efficiency, as well as reduced diarrhea and mortality.

Data published in peer-reviewed journals also suggest that CALSPORIN® reduces the numbers of harmful bacteria in the intestine and supports growth of beneficial bacteria such as Lactobacilli.
